The Department of Business Studies at Aarhus School of Business, University of Aarhus invites applications for a postdoc in accounting. The Accounting Research Group covers management ac-counting and control, financial accounting and auditing. The accounting research group has a broad range of research interests in the fields of financial accounting, corporate governance, cost account-ing, management information systems, performance measurements and management control. As well as undertaking research in specific accounting techniques, we are concerned about methodological and social aspects of management accounting.
The position as post. doc. is a three-year tenure-track position with an obligation to conduct re-search and teaching. Applicants must have completed their Ph.D. before taking up the position. A strong research potential and good teaching skills are required. Candidates are expected to use app. 70 % of their time on research, 20 % on teaching and 10 % on administrative duties. Furthermore, it is expected that the applicant will be able to teach in English. The postdoc will have to follow an internal teaching skills program.
