A postdoctoral position is available in the group of Dr. Ergun Simsek, in the Faculty of Engineering at Bahcesehir University, Istanbul, TURKEY. The aim of the project is development of fast algorithms for plasmonic structures. A PhD in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, Physics, or a related field is required. The successful candidate should bring experience, enthusiasm and dedication to the group. A strong drive to succeed in computational photonics research is essential. The Astrophysics and Space Forum of Sabanci University in Istanbul, Turkey, invite applications for a postdoctoral position funded by the European Commission Marie Curie Transfer of Knowledge Project, ASTRONS (ASTROphysics of Neutron Stars). Description The successful candidate will perform research on topics related to theoretical and observational aspects of neutron stars. The successful applicant is expected to work with the faculty and research staff at Sabanci University ( https://fens.sabanciuniv.edu/physics/eng/ ) and will be encouraged to develop his/her independent research projects on neutron stars.
