ELIAMEP (Hellenic Foundation for European & Foreign Policy ) is looking for a qualified Research Fellow in the fields of International Relations/ Political Economy or European Integration, broadly defined, for a one-year, renewable appointment. The appointee will contribute to refining and implementing a research agenda and link up with areas of related research at ELIAMEP. Greece: MSc Scholarship Programme in Sustainable Agriculture, Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Chania (MAICh)

The Department of Sustainable Agriculture in MAICh provides full scholarships (board, accommodation, tuition fees) for a two-year M.Sc. program, where international academics, researchers and representatives of non-governmental organisations are invited regularly to contribute on a diverse range of topics. The M.Sc. degree on “Sustainable Agriculture” is designed for scientists holding a four years university Bachelors degree in agriculture/agronomy, plant science, biology or any related field. M.Sc. students develop useful working contacts with the invited speakers who cover a wide range of modules related to sustainable agriculture. M.Sc. graduates constitute suitable employees in farmer advice/extension, teaching, research institutions, government and international agencies, management companies, aid programs, local authorities and as consultants in the private sector. Applications are invited for 1 Ph.D. Studentship in the following area: Applied Numerical Analysis with Applications on Computational Sciences and Engineering. Position not funded The successful candidate must have a solid background in Mathematics, an experience in programming (particularly Fortran, Matlab, Mathematica and C) and a strong interest in Computational Sciences and Engineering.
