Commonwealth Scholarships for Developing Commonwealth Countries

DFID Master’s/PhD Degree Deadline: 19 Nov 2015 (annual) Study in: UK Course starts AY 2016-2017 Brief description: Commonwealth Scholarships for Master’s and PhD study in the UK are offered for citizens of developing Commonwealth countries. These scholarships are funded by the UK Department for International Development (DFID).

Japan-IMF Scholarships Program for ASIA

The scholarship covers all reasonable expenses a scholar is expected to incur, including: one return airfare (subject to conditions); admissions and tuition fees; stipend (including a housing and subsistence allowance); medical and accident insurance fees. For scholars enrolled in doctoral programs, research related fees will be additionally covered. The scholarship covers expenses incurred by the scholar only.

ADB - Japan Scholarship Program

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) - Japan Scholarship Program (JSP) was established in April 1988 with financing from the Government of Japan. Upon completion of their study programs, scholars are expected to contribute to the economic and social development of their home countries.
