UK: Master Scholarships in Various Areas of Social Science, University of Southampton

The School of Social Sciences is offering funding for postgraduate taught degrees (which start in October 2007) in various areas.
Details of eligibility, application procedures and application deadlines can be found below.

UK/EU students – NEW – Social Sciences Masters scholarships
We are offering 4 scholarships of £2000 each for 1 year Masters programmes starting in October 2007 across the following areas:

* Economics
* Politics and International Relations
* Sociology and Social Policy
* Gerontology
* Demography


Applications and eligibility
The scholarships will be awarded on a competitive basis to full-time UK/EU postgraduate students who have applied for and accepted a place on one of our Masters programmes within Economics, Politics and International Relations, Sociology and Social Policy, Gerontology or Demography.

Applicants should include a covering letter with their application stating that they wish to be considered for the Social Sciences Masters Scholarships. The application deadline for these scholarships is 18 July 2007.
