Two Research Studentships in Empirical Psychology School of Psychology
Our School of Psychology is one of the largest and most diverse academic psychology departments in the U.K. with an excellent record in research and consultancy as well as in undergraduate and postgraduate professional training. We have thriving research groups in Brain, Cognitition and Behaviour, Health Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Critical Psychology and Applied Psychology.
We are pleased to offer two Research Studentships for session 2007-08. The Studentships are open to applicants wishing to do an MPhil/PhD in cognitive, developmental, health, biological or neuropsychology. For staff interests within these areas please see our website:

The Studentships will cover tuititon fees and a contribution to maintenance of £12,000. The Studentships will be awarded for one year in the first instance with the option for renewal for a second year subect to satisfactory progress, and for a third year subject to successful upgrade from MPhil to PhD registration by the end of year two.

* A curriculum vitae
* A short statement (no more than 500 words) on the proposed research topic
The closing date for applications is 25th June and interviews will be held on Tuesday 17th July 2007.
