Austria: PhD or Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Medical Statistics, the Medical University of Vienna
The Section of Medical Statistics at the Medical University of Vienna ( www.meduniwien.ac.at/medstat/ ) seeks to appoint a two year PhD or Post-Doctorial research fellow starting from October 2007. The department has a strong research record and a high international reputation in the fields of Adaptive Designs and Multiple Testing.
Candidates should have a strong interest in methodologically statistical research. Applicants for the postdoctoral position must have a PhD degree, applicants for the PhD position a master degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Medical Informatics, Bioinformatics or a related field.
Candidates should ideally have experience in statistical methodological research and with statistical and mathematical software. They should be willing to actively contribute to the department’s energetic and cooperative research on adaptive-sequential designs and multiple testing.
