Drexel University's Goodwin College of Professional Studies Applied Engineering Technology Program invites applications for a full-time, renewable-term Assistant Professor position in Electrical Engineering Technology and Electronics.
Goodwin offers non-credit and credit programs, including full time, part time and accelerated undergraduate degrees, Master's degrees, certificates and customized training to traditional and adult learners. Programs are conveniently offered in center city Philadelphia, the Philadelphia suburbs and in southern New Jersey locations.
Qualifications:
Applicants must have earned a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering or in closely related field and have at least 3 years of professional and teaching experience in their respective field. Candidate must have strong computer skills, communication skills and the ability to work with students and staff in a timely and professional manner.
Responsibilities:
Successful candidate will teach basic and advanced undergraduate courses in the following disciplines:
* Analog and Digital electronics
* Microprocessors and Microcontrollers
* Programmable Logic Controllers
* Power Electronics and Electrical Machines
* Electrical Systems Design
* Signals and Systems
* Electronic Communications
* Control Systems
This scholar must be a flexible and dynamic individual with patience and a cooperative spirit. Must be willing to work in a multi-cultural environment and be able to provide service to the university, community, and broader profession. This scholar will also be expected to sustain a research program, develop laboratory courses for AET students, and publish his/her research/educational work in professional journals.
