Centro de Fisica Teorica de Particulas (CFTP) http://cftp.ist.utl.pt of Instituto Superior Tecnico (IST), Technical University of Lisbon, offers four research positions in Theoretical Particle Physics (phenomenology) and related areas. The group includes thirteen Faculty Members, as well as a large number of Postdoctoral Fellows and Graduate Students. Our research work covers the current main stream topics within Particle Physics, extending also to Astroparticle and Hadronic Physics.

Our group has a lively programme of regular seminars. We have been part, already for many years, of different European Networks EU RTNs (Research and Training Networks), and have acquired a long experience in international collaborations and training through the organization of International Schools and Workshops, advanced graduate mini-courses for our students and postdocs as well as the offer of several graduate courses. There is also in our group a tradition of collaboration among students, postdocs and more senior members. This has produced a stimulating, international environment and has led to a large number of publications written in several different joint collaborations.
Successful candidates will receive a salary similar to that of an Assistant Professor. The contract will have a duration of up to 5 years. The present annual gross income is of 3 038 Euros per month.
