A postdoctoral fellow position is available to study how aberrations of pathways that normally control embryonic patterning contribute to tumorigenesis. Our laboratory primarily focuses on elucidating the roles and mechanisms of homeobox genes in regulating tumor lineage-specificity and tumor progression (Nat Med 11:531; Cancer Res 66:889; Am J Pathol 170:1594).
Candidates must have a Ph.D. degree and a research background in transcriptional regulation, chromatin modification, cell differentiation, developmental biology and/or stem cell biology. Expertise in molecular biology, mammalian tissue culture and animal tumor models is essential. Strong oral and written communication skills are required.
Please send CV and contact information for 3 references.
