EDSF scholarships are awarded to full-time students who are committed to pursuing a career in the document management and communications marketplace. These careers may include: Computer science & engineering (for example: web design, webmaster, software development, materials engineer, applications specialist, IT designer, systems analyst, chemical engineer, electrical engineer) and Graphic & Media Communications (for example: graphic designer, illustrator, color scientist, print production, prepress imaging specialist, workflow specialist, document preparation, production and/or document distribution, content management, e-commerce; imaging science, printing, web authoring, electronic publishing, archiving, security), and those students interested in Business (sales and marketing, including trade shows, finance, human resources, customer service, legal, compliance, project or product development/ management) in the document management and communications industry.
EDSF awards a minimum of 40 scholarships annually. Scholarships are awarded in two categories:
1- Four-Year Students and Advanced Students
Awarded to full time students who are committed to pursuing a career in the field of document communication in the areas of: document preparation, production and/or document distribution and document archiving, including one-to-one marketing, graphic communication & arts; e-commerce; imaging science, printing, web authoring, electronic publishing, computer science and telecommunications.
2- One and Two-Year Technical/Community College Students
Awarded to full time students, first or second year students attending a technical or trade school, or community college, and is pursuing a degree in the field of document communications.
