Applications are invited for two PhD studentships available for three years from November 2007 in the Department of Chemistry, The Open University.
PhD Studentship in Bio-analytical Chemistry
The aim of the research project is to develop a new generation of field-based analytical devices for the multitarget detection of acute
phase proteins in animal body fluids, which are excellent biomarkers to evaluate the animals state of health.
Candidates should hold (or expect to gain in 2007) a first degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry or related discipline in Molecular Bioscience.
