Ethnography & Evaluation Research (E&ER) seeks postdoctoral researcher in mathematics education assessment & evaluation to help design, implement, & disseminate multi-year evaluation of undergraduate mathematics reform initiative at 5 universities.
Qualifications: Degree in mathematics, math education, or related field; graduate work (Ph.D. preferred) in math/STEM education research.
Skills: Design/analysis of assessment instruments, statistical analysis, web programming, quantitative & qualitative analysis software, scholarly literature, strong communication, independent & collaborative work. Math teaching experience and other skills that complement E&ER strengths in qualitative research & science education.
Funding is in the form of a one-year, renewable research position. E&ER is nationally known for studies of science, math, & engineering education.
