Postdoctoral Positions are available to study molecular mechanisms underlying colon cancer pathogenesis. Research focuses on the function and regulation of the Src tyrosine kinase during normal cell cycle progression, proliferation, differentiation, adhesion and survival, and the deregulation of Src during colonic carcinogenesis. The role of endogenous and small molecule inhibitors of Src in intestinal cell growth control is being investigated.
Candidates should have a recent PhD or MD/PhD, a strong background in molecular and cellular biology, and are US Citizens.
