East-West Center Graduate Degree Fellowship
In its 5th decade, the EWC Graduate Degree Fellowship continues to draw outstanding applicants in the fellowship competition for graduate study. The fellowship provides funding for MA (up to 24-month fellowship) or Doctoral degree (up to 48- month fellowship) study.
Eligibility: Citizens or permanent residents of the United States and citizens of countries in the Pacific and Asia, including Russia and Iran.

Asian Development Bank-Government of Japan Scholarships
Funding for graduate degree study (up to 24-month scholarship) to participate in educational programs and the Leadership Certificate at the EWC while pursuing graduate study in ADB-approved fields at the University of Hawai’i at MÇnoa.
Eligibility: Applicants must be a citizen of a borrowing member country of the Asian Development Bank.

EWC Student Affiliate Program
Full-time graduate students at the University of Hawai’i at MÇnoa who have external funding (i.e., Fulbright grants) or self-funded, have an opportunity to participate in the Center’s educational and cultural programs and residential community as Student Affiliates. A vibrant program, the Student Affiliate Program draws outstanding participants from around the world to the Center’s student program.

Asia Pacific Leadership Program
An innovative, graduate-level certificate program offered through the EWC that combines the development of regional expertise with the enhancement of individual leadership skills.
Eligibility: APLP is open to citizens of all countries for participation; however, eligibility for scholarship consideration is limited to citizens or permanent residents of the United States and citizens of countries in the Pacific and Asia, including Russia.

Obuchi Student Scholarship

US-South Pacific Scholarship Program
Funded by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the U.S. Department of State, USSP provides educational opportunities for individuals from South Pacific countries in fields relevant to the development needs in the region. Funding is for undergraduate degree or Master’s level study.
Eligibility: Citizens of the Cook Islands, Fiji, Kiribati, Niue, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu, and Vanuatu.
