A position as Doctoral research fellow is available at the Department of Landscape Architecture and Spatial Planning, Norwegian University of Life Sciences. The research fellow will take part in the research project «How the Environment affords physical activity in adolescents, financed by the Research Council of Norway.
The main aim of the project is to increase our knowledge on which physical factors, linked to schools and their neighbourhoods, enhance or restrict levels of physical activity in youths, and whether these are different for boys and girls.
The purpose of the fellowship is research training leading to the successful completion of a PhD degree. The fellowship requires admission to the research training programme at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences. The candidate will be expected to fullfil the research training programme within a period of 3 years.
A project description including some conditions regarding the research fellow is available. The position is available for a period of 3 years.
Qualification required:
MSc or equivalent in one or more of the following; landscape architecture, spatial planning, geography, environmental sciences, environmental psychology. Education/experience: We are looking for candidates who can offer some of the following experience/skills; GIS based landscape analysis or health related research.
Pay grade: 43 - 47 (NOK 325.800 - 349.100), depending on qualifications.
