Ph.D. Research Scholarship in Proteomics at the University of Sydney, Australia
A scholarship to conduct research in proteomics and virology toward a Ph.D. research is available at The University of Sydney. The objective of the research, funded by the Australian Research Council, is to advance proteomics surveillance of the influenza virus and anti-viral drug screening.
Candidates should hold a first class honours degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline and be strongly motivated to take part in world-first cutting-edge research at Australia’s first university. Candidates must have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. The scholarship stipend is at Australian Postgraduate Award levels ($A19,616 p.a.) and support is available for the successful candidate to attend and present their research at scientific conferences. Candidates are also eligible to obtain additional financial support for undergraduate teaching.
