NTU is a major research intensive university in Singapore, and is highly recognized for its excellence in science and engineering. It is always highly ranked in many international comparisons of higher education.
A 4 year full research scholarship will be given through the School to the qualified candidate. The scholarship covers all tuition fees and stipend of S$2,000/month which is raised to S$2,500/month from year 2 after passing qualification exam. The monthly living cost on campus is about S$800-900. Special support for students to attend oversea conferences is also available.
Applicants with qualified academic record and good TOFEL and GRE scores will be considered immediately. International applicants must submit TOEFL and GRE scores (tested within 2 years) to the School before getting the final admission. Local applicants do not need the scores.
