During the exchange student application period each semester
Selection Procedure
Applicants receive recommendations by their own universities officially partnered with SNU ⇒ applicants submit the recommendations along with applications to SNU’s Office of International Affairs ⇒ the National Institute for International Education make the final selection

The National Institute for International Education (NIIE) announces the number of nominees per university each year
Subsidies
- Tuition fee waiver: exchange students are exempted from SNU tuition fee
- Living expenses: 800,000 KRW per month
- Airfare: one round trip airfare cost within the limited range of each country
- Settlement aid: 200,000 KRW (one time)
