Consumer law firm Lemberg Law is excited to offer scholarships to students who are inspired to learn more about consumer law issues and to further their education.

We’re looking for students to creatively express their viewpoints, in video format, on do-not-call complaints. Here are some questions you can think about when planning your video (but you’re not required to answer any or all of them):
Videos must be between one and three minutes long, and be submitted in one of the following file formats: .m4v, .wmv, .mp4, or .mov
All videos will become the property of Lemberg Law, and Lemberg Law may share or publish any submitted video.
Videos cannot contain any commercial music or copyrighted material.

One student will be awarded $1,000 to be used toward college tuition and fees. Awards are not renewable.

All materials must be received no later than 11:59 p.m. EDT July 31, 2015.
Scholarship Selection Process
A three-person panel will review the video submissions and select the winner based on the quality of the video and the message it conveys. The judges’ decision is final. The winner will be notified by August 31, 2015.
Scholarship Payment
Upon receipt of proof of enrollment in an accredited two-year or four-year college or university in the U.S., Lemberg Law will issue a check made payable to the scholarship winner’s school, and will mail the check to the scholarship winner’s home address.

- What role can consumer attorneys play in curbing robocalls from debt collection agencies?
- What would the world be like if there were no prohibitions against unwanted robocalls?
- How do laws protect consumers from robocalls?
- What can other students learn from watching your video?

- A high school senior (Class of 2015 graduate) who plans to enroll full-time in an accredited two-year or four-year college or university in the U.S. for the 2015-2016 school year, OR
- An undergraduate student enrolled full-time in an accredited two-year or four-year college or university in the U.S.

- Your full name, mailing address, phone number, and email address
- The name of the university you will be attending for the 2015-2016 school year
- A download link for your video (e.g., dropbox, webtransfer, etc.), which has a file name that contains your name (i.e., jane_doe.m4v, john_smith.mov) (YouTube URLs are not allowed). Do NOT email the actual video; email the download link to the video
- If you are 18 years of age or older, include in your email to us the following statement: “I have read and agree to the contest rules of the Lemberg Law Do-Not-Call-Complaints Scholarship. My video is my own work.” See the rules.
- If you are under 18 years of age, your parent or legal guardian must include in your email to us the following statement: “I have read and agree to the contest rules of the Lemberg Law Do-Not-Call-Complaints Scholarship. My child has my permission to enter the contest.” See the rules.
